Love is an eternal emotion that has the power to vanish a person’s thoughts and other sorts of emotions. In Hinduism a type of marriage exists in which the couple marries in secret spots mostly in the woodland in the complete absence of other witnesses they wear garlands on each other with or without the presence of  fire. Some ritualists were against this marriage in the past due to its secrecy and absence of rituals but it is considered as a form of pure marriage in which the loved ones wore garlands under the trees and vowed to live an equal and desirable life. The Hindu mythology flourished with Gandharva Vivah Shiva’s marriage with Ma Sati, and the marriage between Apsara's daughter Shakuntala and King Dushyanta were renowned tales which is relatable to the modern-day concept of partner selection. Yes, freely choose upon your own choice.
